One of the many obstacles to student learning is lack of engagement. I often visit classrooms where students seem to have checked out- which leads to classroom management issues and perhaps a high rate of absenteeism.

I have always had great success including any an all forms of technology in my classroom. The students enjoy the technology and therefore engaged.
